2011, Fat Possum

VINYL FORMAT. Unknown Mortal Orchestra was initially conceived by New Zealand native Ruban, to release some tracks online. He had pieced a band together, with skilled producer Jake on bass, and the brilliant teenage drummer, Julian. They are now based out of Portland. In their short career they have made quite the impression with their live show, bringing break-beats together with 70s pop harmonies and a minimal Krautrock rhythm section.
