Unpacking my library

Currituck Co. is short for Currituck County, which is located on North Carolina’s famed Outer Banks. A young Kevin Barker spent many summers there and picked up the area's hillbilly style of music. He plays a b-bender guitar, as well as the banjo. (When he's with his other band, Aden, he provides the band with his go-all-out-on-a-string-pickin’ frenzy.) His folk- and blues-influenced music has a very fresh and contemporary indie feel to it. Kevin’s guitars and banjos are filled out with melodicas and Mark’s double bass. Album recorded in Chicago by Mark Greenberg of Coctails and Archer Prewitt fame.
