Soulive's Up Here, released to celebrate the launch of their very own Royal Family Records! Joined by guest vocalist Nigel Hall and the Shady Horns aka Ryan Zoidis (tenor, baritone sax) and Sam Kininger (alto sax), the trio returns to its B3-driven roots with their seventh studio endeavor, self-produced and recorded by Alan Evans at Playonbrother Studios. Alan explains, "This is the Soulive album I've always wanted to record - it's what I've been hearing in my head for years."

This official CD release includes a bonus DVD, "Live at Blue Note Tokyo" with footage from the trio's recent visit to the land of the rising sun, backed by New Orlean's trumpeter Christian Scott and the Shady Horns.
