VINYL FORMAT. Part of Raster Noton's Unun series, Mika Vainio's Vandal EP shows his preference for working in analog. He develops a dynamic sound that harkens Pan Sonic, working from a rather abstract structure towards arrangements which more and more suit a club setting. Straight beats, noise and the lack of clicks & cuts are the ingredients for his contemporary version of electronic club music. Mika's sound stands for being physical, raw and profound beyond all clichés.
