Dischord was founded by teenagers in 1980 to document the music coming out of the D.C. punk community. This release includes a double CD featuring one song from every band (50) on the label, a third CD featuring unreleased or rare material from the Dischord vaults, as well as some cd-rom video files of archival footage of performances of some of the early bands, and finally a 134 page booklet that includes photos and text about each of the bands and the history of the label.
