In his brief 32 years James Dewitt Yancey, better known by the names J Dilla or Jay Dee, was highly influential as a hip-hop/soul producer who created an incredible amount of productions for the likes of De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, The Pharcyde, Janet Jackson, Busta Rhymes, Common, D'Angelo and his own group, Slum Village.

J. Dilla was often dubbed "your favorite producer's favorite producer," and was highly regarded by hip-hop artists and producers such as Madlib, Pete Rock, Mos Def, PHarrell, Waajeed, Flying Lotus and Kanye West.

In the final part of the Dillanthology trilogy, we present a collection of tracks from his classic solo albums and the Jaylib album with Madlib, featuring guests spots from Guilty Simpsons, Black Thought (The Roots), Phat Kat, Common and D'Angelo.
