Rock Hits of the 60's, released by Sony Special Products, is a cheap compilation -- made apparent by the sleeve's horrid graphic design and the disc's short running time -- that nonetheless rounds up an enjoyable set of late-'60s staples, such as the Byrds' "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything Is a Season)," Blood, Sweat & Tears' "Spinning Wheel," Sly & the Family Stone's "Everyday People," and the Chambers Brothers' "Time Has Come Today." Almost all of the songs here have appeared on countless compilations (most of which are more generous) over the years, but this is a decent grab bag for those who are on a tight budget. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
