2010, Aerobic International
VINYL FORMAT. To complete the series, a limited edition 7" for DJs and vinyl junkies brings two unreleased tracks from the SF/LA/NY dance phenomenon Sugar & Gold, exposing yet another layer of the band's songwriting and production style. On the heels of their spring release Get Wet! and a national tour, they dipped back into the studio to produce a couple of exclusive dance tracks that whip melancholy and poppy joy into synth psychedelia.
Press Quotes "Get Wet! has mastered the use of electricity, power pop, and that signature '70s and '80s lovin' feeling. It's so perfected, in fact, that it wouldn't be out of place in the tape deck of Dr. Brown's time traveling DeLorean while taking it for a cruise down the discotheque way." — Verbicide
"If Chromeo were to resurrect Rick James, collaborate with Jamiroquai, and then make a dance album with Simian Mobile Disco, this is probably what it would sound like." — URB
"Get Wet! ends up being a very good dance-pop record that should please those who like a little bit of brains in their mindless good times." — All Music Guide
