IMPORT. Waken ye soft pop fans pining for the sensual sultry song stylings, The LUCKSMITHS are back to embrace you, embrace you with an album that recalls
albums by BELLE & SEBASTIAN and STARLET, The SMITHS, and for me, fellow Aussie
geniuses The GO-BETWEENS& The fourteen tracks build on The LUCKSMITHS' brand
of intelligent pop, embellishing it with organ, piano, brass, clarinet, and
even a string quartet. Good friend DARREN HANLON was one of the many
collaborators. Lyrically it is the group's most personal work to date. All
three LUCKSMITHS contributed songs to the album, and the maturity evident in
their writing is reflected in the sophistication of the grand and grander
arrangements&
