1994, Smells Like Records
One could say that Sentridoh began with the Dinosaur Jr. song 'Poledo' in which Lou Barlow - with two tape decks, a cheap acoustic guitar, a quiet voice and a bunch of tape loops - founded his own voice and style. Culled from Barlow's forgotten four track tapes, Winning Losers is complete low-fi bliss. Just a man with a guitar and some other nifty noise makers writing some of the most confessional songs of his career; all recorded in the privacy of his living room.
