VINYL FORMAT. The youngest addition to the Sargent House roster, Native was born in the Summer of 2007 in Northest Indiana. Since their inception, Native have built a reputable following through extensive touring and their highly acclaimed EP, 2008's We Delete; Erase. Their music brims with powerful riffs, passionate lyrics, and a youthful energy that is sure to invigorate even the most cynical. Native's DIY work ethic and well executed musicianship have already landed them spotlights in high profile publications such as NME, Alternative Press, CMJ, and Surfing Magazine. In April 2009, Native began recording their debut full-length, Wrestling Moves, with producer Chris Common (Pelican, Mammifer, These Arms Are Snakes) at Red Room Studios in Seattle, WA. The album has drawn comparisons to 90's post-hardcore acts The Van Pelt, Braid, Jawbox, At The Drive-In, and more.
