Writers Remixed

The debut 4AD full-length from this London-based collective; a group inspired by This Mortal Coil and the 6ths is remixed. Their sound encompasses everything from ambient pop to drum n' bass to white noise, to electro-organic minimalist soundscapes. 'Writers Without Homes' features guest appearances from members of Cocteau Twins, Tram, The Czars, Tarwater, Life Without Buildings, George, and Le Volume Courbe. But among all these guests, the real coup came when the band coaxed long-retired '60s folk starlet Vashti Bunyan out of retirement to sing on her first recording in nearly 30 years ('Crown Of The Lost').
