Señor Coconut is a German producer and DJ, based in Chile. In 2000, he revolutionized Latin electronic music with El Baile Aleman, transposing Kraftwerk byte-for-byte into a soundfield of maracas, congas, shakers, and vibes-a-go-go. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Señor Coconut's groundbreaking album, Nacional Records is re-issuing his album Yellow Fever. Originally working with samplers and computers, Coconut upgraded to a full sized big band and takes his concepts to another level. On Yellow Fever, Coconut tackles a Latin electronic tribute to legendary artists Yellow Magic Orchestra.
