Daniel Bejar (aka Destroyer) continues to surprise and delight. Without a doubt one of the most dynamic and enigmatic songwriters of his generation, Bejar -- one of the founding members and principle songwriters for Vancouver’s rock super group, the New Pornographers -- turns out another stellar performance vastly different from his previous work. Bombastic and bold at times, quiet and soothing at others, 'Your Blues' has an almost theatrical quality that informs the compositions. Another stunning achievement for Bejar, 'Your Blues' is sure to be considered one of the best of 2004.
