Audio Astronomy (CD)
Audio Astronomy was her space holiday's debut release. Originally put out by Train Bridge Records as a 12" only release in 1997, her space
was a complete stylistic change for founder Marc Bianchi, who achieved
success in California hardcore bands such as Indian Summer and Mohinder.
While fans expected a blast of noise from her space holiday, they instead
received a quiet assault of sincerity and minimalism. Marc Bianchi used her space holiday as a vehicle for him to explore the more intimate elements of songwriting instead of the sheer sonic power of his earlier projects. Elements of Bianchi's trademark "boy-meets-girl-things fall apart" lyricism and his subdued delivery were unlike anything coming out of California at the time. As hsh was mainly a studio project, it was not until 12 crazy (studio version)
nearly 3 years after their first release that hsh hit the road. Audio Astronomy
showcases the beginnings of hsh's development as musicians, and based Select Discography
upon the recent success of Manic Expressive, it is essential that any fan Manic Expressive CD (Tiger Style)
spend time with Audio Astronomy to see where the journey began.
