Mclusky, a ragged Welsh trio indebted to both punk and indie rock, first showed up on the scene in 1998. Led by Andrew Falkous (vocals/guitar), the band also originally included Matthew Harding (drums) and Jonathan Chapple (bass). Mclusky debuted on wax in the U.K. with 2000's My Pain and Sadness Is More Sad and Painful Than Yours (Fuzzbox). VINYL FORMAT. Part two of a two-pronged mclusky singles attack (last month's "There Ain't No Fool In Ferguson & 1959 And All That" was part one) should provide the ever-growing legion of mclusky fans with much delight. Three non-LP songs recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini in April of 2003. Since they're back at it with a new drummer, expect to hear a bunch more from mclusky in 2004.
