Philadelphia's Hail Social features Davye Hawk (vocals/guitar), Matt Maraldo (drums), Dan Henry (bass), and Richie Roxas (guitar). The roots of the indie rock foursome took hold when Hawk and Maraldo befriended one another at work. Both were eager to start making music, but the reserved, self-conscious Hawk was reluctant to share his years of songwriting with a single audience. Philadelphia's quartet released a 7-inch and a 4-song EP, toured the US opening for Interpol and Secret Machines, and have shared stages with Unicorns, TV On The Radio, Ted Leo, Of Montreal, Joan Of Arc, Denali, and The Rogers Sisters, to name a few.
