Insound Staff Pick - 2008! Produced by Rusty Santos, the New York mixer behind Animal Collective and Panda Bear's albums, Red, Yellow & Blue exemplifies the Ruffians' brand of self-described "hootin and hollarin'". From start to finish it's a good time, and the band knows it. VINYL FORMAT. "The EP follow up to [the Born Ruffians] Red Yellow Blue full length, Little Garcon sounds kind of like the jukebox of your local, neighborhood dive bar at one am, jumping around with sing-song-y familiarity, an underlying country twang, and a healthy scoop of in-song unpredictability that has everyone in the bar drunkily mouthing along the wrong lyrics.
