This Chicago quartet have earned themselves a reputation as hard-partying Midwestern punks who've never met a stage they didn't want to burn down, but underneath all that they're a bunch of guys whose hearts melt at the touch of a sweet pop hook, who love The Replacements' slow songs just as much as their fast ones, and who love defying expectations.

Mannequin Men are the sound of the underdog. That's not a typo or a malapropism. How else can you describe a band that's been kicked around for years and refuses to lay down and die, but instead claws their way to the surface with a total rager of a live show and an album to back it up? It's not an act either. They're Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears fans. Fresh Rot is here to creep into your home, drink all of your beer and remind you that music can still be reckless and fun.
