Main single "How You Like Me Now"is pure vodoo-funk. "Sixteen" channels the ghost of Screamin' Jay into a tawdry tale of Satan and his young bride. Hailing from the poor, insular and dark countryside which surrounds Bath, the Heavy sound both possessed and insinuating, a kind of stealthy wickedness which overflows from their debut album, 'Great Vengeance & Furious Fire'. First, though, comes their single, 'That Kind of Man'. A furious hip soul stomper in which wall upon wall of guitar is rammed up against tight horn riffs and the remarkable vocals float above the melee, 'That Kind Of Man' is the perfect introduction to the Heavy's unique sound.
