VINYL FORMAT. When former New York Dolls/Heartbreaker John Anthony Genzale died in 1991, he'd experienced just about all the ups and downs rock 'n' roll could possibly lay on one man. By the end of his solo career, abruptly shut down by heroin abuse, he had played an impressive number of live shows. This 1990 unplugged concert closed that circle and showed the many sides of a gifted guitarist and punk rock legend.

The Doris Day song? Yes. Done by Johnny in his own weird way. This didn't appear on the Thunders album 'Que Sera Sera' but the 'B' side tracks 'Short Lives' and 'I Only Wrote This Song For You' do come from there. The cover photos come from the Nina Antonia book 'In Cold Blood'. They show a very young Johnny as a choir boy next to an older Johnny being held in jail.
