Looper
Looper was the electronic-inspired side project of Belle and Sebastian bassist Stuart David; after debuting in mid-1998 with the Sub Pop single "Impossible Things," the full-length Up a Tree followed in March of 1999. Upon completing work on Belle and Sebastian's Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant album, David left the group to focus on Looper full time, touring with the Flaming Lips prior to releasing The Geometrid in the spring of 2000. Looper returns with The Geometrid, another collection of Stuart David's homespun electronic pop.
