Championed by Paul Wall and named by the late rapper HAWK, Grit Boys are a hardcore crew from Houston, TX. Members Poppy, Scooby, and Unique met while attending Houston's Worthing High School. After an appearance on Lil O's 2000 album Da Fat Rat wit da Cheeze, the group began working closely with HAWK, landing on nearly all of his mixtapes.
