In a similar vein as other great southern groups such as Superchunk, Archers of Loaf, and Verbena, Glossary can rock with the best of them while creating memorable pop hooks. Perhaps their greatest credit is adding that little ounce of southern feeling with a touch of the Northwest synth-sound. Joey plays churning guitar melodies while Jason and Maggie add simple, but integral pieces of aural pleasure that punctuate the songs into their own signature style.
