It was pressed in a quantity of only 500 and features exclusive new songs. Grouper's contribution, "Rising Height," is a gorgeous example of her elongated Kendra Smith-esque fuzzy drone craft. Pumice gives us "Twin Neck Double Kick Bum Chin," a new song that could've fit well on Quo.

Proper CD reissue of this LP originally released in 2007. Cover The Windows And The Walls was the first vinyl only release by Portland, OR. resident Liz Harris under her Grouper moniker. In hindsight this disc can be seen as the first shift in Grouper's sound towards the more in-focus songs presented on Dragging A Dead Dear Up A Hill and away from the analog crunch found on the earlier entries of her discography. A perfect entry into her world of downer reverb and endless delay. Songs buried deep.
