Enigk's biggest claim to fame is his involvement with Sunny Day Real Estate, who released five albums from 1993 to 2000, in which he served as lead singer, co-songwriter and guitarist. Although he is often cited as a progenitor of emo music, he has sought to distance himself from those types of bands. Enigk returns with the quick follow-up to last year's highly acclaimed World Waits with The Missing Link, which features brand new material along with acoustic versions from World Waits.
