After a mellow period of post-rock, Lungfish reintroduced elements of dissonance and vocal fire, reviving the group's punk energy for 1999's The Unanimous Hour. The group's consciousness alternately/ simultaneously coalesces and disperses creating a continuos quasi-musical pulse which reaches climax at semi-monthly publc performances. Feral Hymns was recorded by Tim Green (The Fucking Champs, Nation of Ulysses) at Louder Studio in San Francisco in the Fall of 2004 and was mastered John Golden and Tim Green at John Golden Mastering.
