Minor Threat played one of its last shows at Washington DC's 930 Club in June of 1983. Their performance was videotaped for a documentary about the local punk scene, but the documentary project fell apart and the tapes were left on the shelf. Two years later, the tapes from the 930 show were edited together and Dischord released them as the Minor Threat "Live" VHS video in 1986. The band recorded all of the songs that they had written in the short time they had been together, but were apparently unsatisfied with their performance and never bothered to do a final mix of the tape.
