From their home bases of Colorado and Brooklyn, Motel Motel has forged a sound uniquely their own while still paying homage to the honky tonkers of the past, culminating in this, their debut full-length. Drawing comparison to Cold War Kids and Wilco, the music is canonical, yet indefinable, a memory of a truck stop jukebox, but one blaring from the bodegas of Spanish Harlem.
