The String Quartet Tribute to 3 Doors Down gets a bit ahead of itself, drenching most tracks in layers of viola and cello that dull the effect of the lead violin. However, perhaps unsurprisingly, the strong melodies of "Here Without You" and "Away from the Sun" endure, and "Loser" isn't half bad as a string-laden instrumental, either.
