Brenda Holloway is one of the unsung heroes of the Motown story. She had a soulful, gritty voice; stunning good looks; great songs (some of which she wrote herself); but no hits. When first packaged, this 18-track Brenda Holloway collection was definitely definitive. It features the bulk of Holloway's Motown releases, save a few, and includes strong B-sides like "I've Got to Find It."
