Somehow the Cyrkle, one of the more clean-cut pop-rock groups of the late 1960s, ended up doing the soundtrack to the obscure X-rated movie {#The Minx}. (Although it was originally intended as more of a B-movie, nude scenes were added to generate controversy.) The Cyrkle & the Buckinghams: Take 2 collects five songs apiece from the late-'60s pop bands, including their respective big hits, "Red Rubber Ball" and "Kind of a Drag." Though the delicate, harpsichord-driven chamber pop of the Buckinghams' "Inside Looking Out" and the Cyrkle's winsome "Cloudy" (which, like "Red Rubber Ball," was penned by Paul Simon and Bruce Woodley) are pretty good on their own terms, nothing here has the impact of the bands' definitive songs.
