Margot & the Nuclear So and So's are an 8-piece circle of young friends from Indiana who, in the spring of 2005, quietly released one of the most beloved indescribable records in recent memory, The Dust of Retreat. The band has clocked more than 100,000 miles on the road, playing sold out shows in NY, Chicago, and Indianapolis. The band was signed to Epic Records in October 2007, and wrote and recorded their major label debut with Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine). From that recording session was born two separate releases, Animal and Not Animal.
