On Point and Red is the second full length from Vancouver's Readymade. Atmospheric, melodic and delay-laden, layers of guitars and synths propel the album through 10 tracks of urban soundscape, where seemingly slack and militant attitudes play-off but don't play-out.

OPAR sees original members Arch (guitar, vocals), Kevin Hilts (keyboards) and Throwen Daggers (bass) return after over a year of inactivity to once again fill the lanes on the break, this time joined by d.t. (mixboard) and dr. roberts (drum kit) of the sublime Pipedream. The band transcends their early mastery of old school shoegaze to create a recording of subtle dynamics, mellow catchiness, arcing melodies and propulsive rhythms in a charge to derail the programming of time, routine and responsibility.
