Brooklyn duo SEMIAUTOMATIC have a handful of previous releases available on 5RC, etc, but have been talking about doing a one-off release with us for about 3 years! They are the musical meeting of the minds of Rop (ex-PEE CHEES, RICE) and Akiko. Their sound is a little bit LE TIGRE, a little bit APHEX TWIN, a little bit... rock n roll? CONCENTRICK is the secret moniker of San Francisco resident Tim Green, better known as 1/3 of THE FUCKING CHAMPS, 1/5 of the NATION OF ULYSSES, and the whole 9 yards behind San Francisco's Louder Recordings (MELVINS, PLEASURE FOREVER, etc.).
