My Little Problem is the Brighton based project of Simon Janes. This is his first record, although he is also a member of 100 Pets, who last year released their debut album 'Easter Songs' on Pickled Egg and Rewika. My Little Problem's ep on Becalmed presents Simon's own work through five songs that go from delicate acustic guitars to eerie elements accompanied by cello, occasional piano and box harp. Always focusing on the song, the gentle and restrained singing mixes with whispers, resulting in an overall sound that recalls Nick Drake and Movietone.
