this split 12? is definitely a pleasant surprise. The good good side consists of four tracks of fun, well played awesome melodic but eccentric punk rock that sort of sounds like abe froman meets huggy bear. Predominantly female vocals rule the vocal department and the music definitely has that catchy but erratic huggy bear sound. On the flipside, cha cha cha provide three interesting songs. One of the tracks is more of a solo ballad number which definitely maintains an eccentric edge to it, while the other two tracks possess a very interesting almost cabaret feel to the lounging punk rock sounds. Good.
