Last year's self-titled debut landed these Canadians a Juno Award nomination for Best Alternative Album, nearly broke the record for longest charting album in Canadian campus radio history, and placed on the year end top ten lists for both the "Exclaim!" readers' poll and the "Eye" national critics' poll (Canada's equivalent of "The Village Voice"). This is their second full-length and first for Sub Pop; an ambitious record combining a steady diet of '90s DC rock (like a Joe Strummer-fronted Fugazi) with dub-inflected bass, blue-eyed soul, and a punk aesthetic.
