(Do Make Say Think), Sophie Trudeau (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Silver Mount Zion), Anthony Seck (Shalabi Effect), Diedre Smith (Strawberry) and Raoul Tangeuy. Extended, experimental Spaghetti Western jams drenched in reverb and tremelo, with a decidely bleak-but-beautiful country feel.

| Let me get this right? A member of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, a member from Broken Social Scene, a member of the Shalabi Effect, - a member of Do Make Say Think all get together and form a band? And it doesn't rock? Unfortanetly, there is no rocking involved. All we get is vaguely western soundtracky noodles and pure background atmosphere, almost as if this is the score to a documentary about depressing roadside attractions in Arizona. Ultimately, having a ''supergroup'' turn in music of this quality is kinda like if Matisse had limited himself to painting upon painting of John Wayne to sell outside the BBQ shack: you know they are capable of more but you give 'em a break 'cause they've done great stuff in the past. Maybe they were just tired.
On a scale from Muppets in Space to The Muppet Movie, this cd is a Muppet Treasure Island.
