This foursome has been creating heavenly, effects-drenched, full-length pop milkshakes since way back in 1996. Their 2000 record, "The Discovery of a World Inside the Moone," traces the musical bloodline from the Beatles and the Beach Boys to Guided By Voices and XTC. Dreamy melodies, horn sections, fuzzy guitars, and luscious harmonies are wonderfully mixed with a little Sly and the Family Stone (and maybe even a little Zep!).
