Archer Prewitt, guitarist for The Sea And Cake and formerly of The Coctails, returns with his newest and second release for Thrill Jockey. His guitar work is integral to the sound of The Sea And Cake, but on his own work he manages to find a completely different tone and timbre. His voice is a mix of English folk and mid-70's contemporary AM radio. Think Badfinger mixed with Emmit Rhodes given a fresh breath of air a la Sufjan Stevens. These well-crafted and self-produced songs will stand the test of time.
