The music found on Carter Tanton's debut release is taken from a variety of home recordings. Without sounding like some bedroom rocker who knows better, he gives us some sense of bearing and we're all better for it. Words stricken by personal heartfelt experiences, guitars so drawn out that it sounds like the last melody you'll ever hear, and topped off with a lightheartedness that leave you in the end (yes, there is an end) knowing that at the end of the day everything will be fine. Fans of the Replacements, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Dylan's Free Wheelin' tend to enjoy this disc.
