Tail Swallower and Dove (CD)
These Arms Are Snakes move through ten songs with the cracked grace of bolted lightning, rolling and leveling, seeking a space to storm into. The result is more a coherent whole album than a cycle of individual songs. From the textural depth of the keyboards and guitar tones to the vocal delivery, the attention to detail is incredible.

| First of all: These Arms Are Snakes know how to make a record. They have long tracks, medium length tracks, and quick bursting tracks. Every song hits you differently. How does Tail Swallower compare to the other albums? I really can't say, because I don't have a solid answer. TAAS really hit the nail on the head with this one. It gets better with every listen. It sucks you in and keeps you on your toes. If you like and appreciate good music, listen to Tail Swallower before its too late. | |
