This five-song CD-EP features alternate versions of two songs from their brilliant sophomore effort, "we have the facts and we're voting yes," plus three brand new songs. Working in the standard guitar/bass/drums format, with occasional keyboards, there's nothing surprising about their sound. However, it's Ben Gibbard's unique sense of melody and strong emotional vibe that makes hunting down every note by this band a satisfying endeavor.
