"This Is Next Year (A Brooklyn-based Compilation)" documents the burgeoning music scene in New York's most colorful borough. Featuring nearly 40 artists (2 CDs for the price of 1!), "This Is Next Year" combines exclusive tracks and other recordings from some of indie-rock's elite as well as new music from artists you probably haven't heard of (yet!). It's a great way to sample the rich and diverse Brooklyn indie scene and help a good cause. The Arena Rock Recording Company and all of the artists involved have donated their time and music. All proceeds from the sale of "This Is Next Year" will go to benefit B.A.R.C. (Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition), an animal shelter in (where else?) Brooklyn.
