Wrapped in an opaque sleeve with a two color screen, this seven-inch musically lives up to the expectations the appearance may generate. Audio Armada start off quiet incorporating subtle keyboards into the traditional guitar/bass/drum outfit. AA earn any comparison to Aloha or the Weakerthans that might be made. Sunsets and Landscapes 'Conversion' is a well-crafted epic song that travels from somewhat lo-fi moments where the guitar and drums set the tone to more energetic sections; all the while driven by an infectious bass line. Fans of Boy's Life, Christie Front Drive and Karate will enjoy this. Both tracks were recorded and produced by the bands themselves, so this is a truly DIY effort. Both bands feature ex-members of the Crimson Curse and Guyver One.
