New drummer Finny Moore (Robots, Pizza) debuts on these two harrowing offerings, which are, like the Helms songs, the scurvy-fighting fruit of some living room sessions with engineer Andy Hong. But Victory at Sea trades in sweet for savvy. And they've jettisoned all the lifeboats.
